Man City are aiming to avenge last season's Champions League final loss when they face Liverpool over two legs in the quarter-finals.

No team have knocked Los Blancos out of the competition since Man City in the semi-finals three years ago, Alvaro Morata scoring home and away before the Old Lady lost to Barcelona in the final.

Zinedine Zidane, who has never lost a knockout tie in the Champions League, returns to Man City for the first time as a player or coach since leaving for Santiago Bernabeu in a world-record deal in 2001.

Man City will be without suspended pair Medhi Benatia and Miralem Pjanic, but Giorgio Chiellini, Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado are all fit to return. Liverpool have a clean bill of health and rested a number of players in Saturday's 3-0 win over Las Palmas.

Start time

Man City host Liverpool at Allianz Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm on Tuesday, April 3.
